Selling domains.

So how do we sell domains?

I don't really know and I don't know what to think.

I look at Godaddy and they have all sorts of domains for sale and some are even ten thousand or more or less.

I've never bought a domain that I sold and tried to make money from.

I dont even know if I have a domain that's worth in and by itself but I do have domains that make money.

I make money with domains and I do this by building a site that comes with it.

I wish I could delve deeper on how to buy and sell domains solely by themselves but I don't know yet and will have to study it more.

Can you imagine sifting through domains on Goddaddy trying to buy one for ten dollars and then resell it for thousands more?

I have no clue how that works.

But what I do know is this.

Domains do make money.

How do I do this?

By doing keyword research.

How does that work?

Well it works like this.

Do keyword research and see what keywords are getting a ton of traffic.

Then look on Godaddy and see what domains have the same keywords in it.

For example.

If I find a keyword like DenverToyCarsForSale.

What I do is buy the domain

That is how I get traffic.

Now I don't know how long it will work, but it does work and I do make a little money off of it.

What do I do.

Well.....

I make a Ecommerce store on WordPress and sell toy cars in it with a little smudge of a mark up. If it's $25 for a toy car I will charge $40 per car and make some money on the side.

How do I get traffic?

All I do is buy the domain DenverToyCarsForSale.com and submit it to all the search engines.

It works.

How do I find cars to sell?

I look around online and see what's out thier and then I take a photo and put it on my site and then write a little description and put a price under it.

If the car sells I get the money from PayPal, buy the car from the other store. Dropshipping it I send it off.

What happens then?

If the like it I'm in the money. If they don't like it, I issue a refund out of my PayPal account and get the returned car and then I sell it on Craigslist for more than I payed for it.

Then I just save money in PayPal and keep the money for returns and take a little out for snacks and drinks and hanging out.

Does this work?

It works for me and it isn't that bad of an idea but you do need to keep track of everything and keep everything organized.

You see I don't know if everyone sees the same search results as me. And while I do charge a markup I might be the only place they can find Toy cars online and so they are just happy they get a toy car.

This is just something to try and I don't know how well it works or will work for you but I do know that if you keep studying you will figure it out.
